James Beards Awards Announces Semifinalists

By Neat Pour Staff |

Today, the James Beard Foundation announced their 2019 Restaurant and Chef Award semifinalists. The list of nominees for the “Oscars of the Restaurant World” was extremely geographically diverse in the beverage based categories. Familiar names such as Chicago’s Lost Lake, San Francisco’s Bar Agricole, and NYC’s Dead Rabbit once again made the roster along with some newcomers like Saint leo in Oxford, MS and Monk’s Café in Philadelphia.

On Wednesday, March 27, the Foundation will reveal the final Restaurant and Chef Award nominees, as well as the nominees for our Media and Restaurant Design Awards, in Houston.

The 2019 James Beard Awards Gala will take place on Monday, May 6, at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. The 2019 Media Awards will be held on Friday, April 26, at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers in New York City.
