2019 James Beard Awards Finalists Announced

By Neat Pour Staff |

Awards Season is upon us again! Today, the James Beard Foundation released the finalists for their 2019 Awards. On the writing side, Cocktail Codex from the Death & Co. crew and The Aviary Cocktail Book (from Aviary obviously) both made the cut. The Bar Program category offered no surprises with familiar names like NYC’s Dead Rabbit, SF’s Bar Agricole,  and Atlanta’s Kimball House. NOLA’s Bacchanal once again provided an unconventional pick for Wine Program along with some hyped places like LA’s Night + Market.

The 2019 James Beard Awards Gala will take place on Monday, May 6, at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. The 2019 Media Awards will be held on Friday, April 26, at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers in New York City.
