San Francisco World Spirits Competition Announces Topline Winners

When it comes time to crown a spirit as the “best,” there’s always an argument. However, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) and their team of heavyweight judges have a solid reputation in the industry. The lauded contest completed their judging last weekend; now, the votes are tallied and the winners are out.

A 44 judge panel comprised of all-stars like Fred Minnick, Ivy Mix, Julie Reiner, and Tony Abou-Ganim, sampled almost 2500 spirits contending in 100+ categories. The process takes three days and all tastings are blind. In the end, only the victors remain. Check out the 2019 Best of Class and Best in Show winners below:

USBGF’s Kim Haasarud Explains the Grant Program
