Win A Trip To Paris With Vinexpo’s Super Simple Cocktail Competition!

By Neat Pour Staff |

Cocktail competitions can be complicated. Some competitions are more about auditioning brand ambassadors than making cocktails; others feature complex structures and loopholes to the three tier system. However, that is not the case with our friends at Vinexpo Paris. Their rules are simple: create a cocktail inspired by the show, post it on Instagram with some tags, and you’re in the running to win airfare and a hotel room in Paris.

Specifically, entrants (US residents only) are first asked to “create an original cocktail inspired by Vinexpo Paris, being careful to take your inspiration not just from the city of Paris, but from the event itself.”

Then, competitors are required to post a photo and specs of the drink on Instagram. Be sure to follow @Vinexpo and @NeatPour as well as tag @Vinexpo, @NeatPour, #MixVinexpoParis, #VinexpoParis, and #BeSpirits. Easy peasy.

But, act fast! The deadline for entries is Friday, November 15th, 2019 at 11:59 pm EST.

For those unfamiliar with Vinexpo Paris (February 10-12, 2019), the event is an annual, industry focused trade show. As the name suggests, this particular incarnation will be hosted in Paris and feature thousands of wines.

But, Vinexpo is not just about wine. Understanding the current convergence in the beverage world, the 2020 show will include a spirits and cocktail focused segment titled Be Spirits. Of course, the program will spotlight brands and educational talks, but the truly unique element is Vinexpo’s “Infinite Bar.”

The Infinite Bar is a 50 meter long location constructed to host pop ups from a couple dozen of France’s most popular craft cocktail destinations (eg Jefrey’s Dirty Dick, and Fitzgerald). The concept is to showcase the brands by letting pros work with them in their natural setting.
