The Puritan

  • Base Spirit Gin
  • Preparation Stirred
  • Flavor Boozy
  • Served Up

Lowell Edmund’s excellent volume, Martini, Straight Up: The Classic American Cocktail states The Puritan first appeared in print in Fredrick L. Knowles 1900 The Cocktail Book: A Sideboard Manual for Gentlemen. Fittingly, Knowles’ work was published by a Boston imprint.

The cocktail features some serious herbacious flavors from the Yellow Chartreuse; so, please opt for a crisper London Dry Gin.

Miracle & Sippin’ Santa Moving Forward: 2020 Locations Announced

Conceived by Greg Boehm (technically his mother) of Cocktail Kingdom fame, the immersive holiday bars celebrate Christmas through seasonal takeover/pop-ups across the world. Sippin’ Santa is Jeff ‘Beachbum’ Berry’s spinoff event, a tiki-Christmas mashup.
