In light of disappointing sales of their flagship Truly hard seltzer, Sam Adams parent Boston Brewers took a beating on the stock market this week. On Friday (7.23) morning alone, the company (trading under SAM) was down 26%.
Tebay will not be the first female bartender; from 1903 to 1924, the legendary Ada Coleman, inventor of the Hanky Panky, held that honor. Tebay will be the first American though. Her name will be added to a legacy that includes bartending icons like Harry Craddock and Peter Dorelli.
Byron Jackson and Mario Mena Jr. filed the suit, arguing that they purchased Veza Sure based on the company’s claims of LatinX roots and Miami origins. However, the beer is actually produced in Fort Pierce, Florida, 130 miles from the city and Anheuser-Busch is owned by Belgium’s A-B InBev.
